SOS is for emergencies only. Use it when you need immediate help.
What is SOS?
SOS instantly alerts your team that you need help. When you trigger SOS:
- Supervisors and responders receive an immediate notification
- Your real-time location is shared
- A responder can be assigned to help you
- Your location continues to update until resolved
SOS Types
When triggering SOS, select the type of emergency:

| Medical | Injury or health issue |
| Security | Safety threat |
| Fire | Fire or smoke |
| Accident | Vehicle or workplace accident |
| Other | Any other emergency |
How to Trigger SOS
- Find the red SOS button on the main screen
- Tap and hold (or tap and confirm)
- Select the emergency type
- Add details if possible
- SOS is activated immediately
Your phone will:
- Share your GPS location continuously
- Send push notifications to responders
- Show an active SOS banner

Only use SOS for real emergencies. False alarms waste your team’s time and resources.
When SOS is Active
- A red banner shows SOS is active at the top of your screen
- Your GPS location updates continuously
- Responders can see your exact position on the map
- You may receive calls or messages from your team
- Stay where you are if safe to do so
Canceling SOS
If you’re safe and the emergency is over:
- Tap the SOS banner at the top of your screen
- Tap Cancel SOS
- Confirm cancellation
- Add resolution notes if prompted
- The alert is cleared for all responders

Only cancel if you’re actually safe! Your team will follow up to confirm.
What Happens After SOS
- Your manager and designated responders are notified immediately
- Push notifications sent to phones and web app
- A responder can assign themselves to help
- They track your location in real-time
- Someone will contact you or come to your location
- SOS is resolved when you’re confirmed safe
Common Questions
I triggered SOS by accident
- Tap the SOS banner immediately
- Tap Cancel SOS
- Confirm the cancellation
- Let your team know it was a mistake via chat
The SOS button isn’t working
- Make sure the app is open and in foreground
- Check your internet connection
- Verify location permissions are enabled
- Try restarting the app
- If still not working, call your supervisor directly
Can someone else cancel my SOS?
Yes, supervisors and admins can resolve SOS alerts from their end once you’re confirmed safe. You’ll see the status change in the app.
Who gets notified when I trigger SOS?
Your organization’s designated responders, supervisors, and admins receive immediate push notifications.
