What is Inventory?

The inventory system helps you track physical items like equipment, supplies, and assets. Monitor quantities, assignments, and locations of all your items.


Inventory Categories

Viewing Inventory

  1. Open the More menu
  2. Tap Inventory to see items
  3. Browse by category or search
  4. Tap an item to see details and availability

Item Details

Each inventory item includes:

  • Name - Item name
  • Description - Item details
  • Category - Type of item
  • Quantity - Total count
  • Available - Currently available count
  • Location - Where items are stored
  • Assigned To - Current assignments
  • Serial Number - For tracked items
  • Photos - Item images


Checking Out Items

Request an Item

  1. Find the item in inventory
  2. Tap Request Checkout
  3. Specify quantity needed
  4. Add notes if required
  5. Submit the request

Your supervisor will approve the checkout.

Return an Item

  1. Open your checked-out items
  2. Tap Check In
  3. Confirm the return
  4. Add condition notes if needed

Item Status

Assigned Items

View your currently assigned items:

  1. Go to your Profile
  2. Tap My Equipment
  3. See all items checked out to you
  4. Tap any item for details or to initiate return

Common Questions

How do I request equipment?

Find the item in inventory and tap Request Checkout. Your supervisor will approve the request.

Can I track individual serial numbers?

Yes, items with serial numbers are tracked individually. Each checkout/checkin is logged with the specific serial number.

What if equipment is damaged?

Report damaged items by tapping the item and selecting Report Issue. Add photos and description of the damage.
