Cameras
Integrate camera feeds and manage surveillance from the TeamMap dashboard.
Quick Access
Cameras is an optional feature. An admin must enable it in Feature Settings before it appears.
What are Cameras?
The Cameras feature lets you register surveillance cameras, view them on the map, and access live feeds directly from the dashboard. Each camera is pinned to a location on the map for spatial awareness.
Adding a Camera
- Open the Cameras section
- Tap Add Camera
- Enter a name and description
- Set the camera’s location on the map
- Optionally add the stream URL for live viewing
- Tap Save

If your camera supports RTSP or HTTP streaming:
- Open a camera from the map or list
- Click View Feed
- The live stream opens in a player within the dashboard
Live feed requires a compatible streaming URL. Contact your camera vendor for the correct stream URL format.
FAQ
What camera brands are supported?
Any camera that provides an RTSP or HTTP stream URL can be integrated. There is no brand restriction.
Can I record from the dashboard?
Recording is handled by your camera hardware or NVR. TeamMap displays live feeds but does not store video.
