Messaging

Send text, voice messages, and files to your team instantly.

Sending Messages

1. Tap the Chat icon
2. Select a channel or start a direct message
3. Type your message or record a voice message
4. Tap Send

Message Features

• @Mentions - Type @ to mention team members. They’ll receive a notification.
• Voice Messages - Hold the microphone button to record audio clips
• File Attachments - Attach images and files to messages
• Message Editing - Tap the menu on your message to edit it
• Reply in Thread - Reply to specific messages to keep conversations organized
• Delete Messages - Remove messages you’ve sent

Reading Messages

• Bold name = Unread messages
• Blue dot = New messages since you last viewed
• Use the filter bar to switch between Chat and Activity views
• Search within a channel to find specific messages

Direct Messages

Send private messages to individual team members.

3. Choose a team member
4. Start your conversation

Channels

Channels are shared spaces for team communication.

Joining a Channel

1. Tap Chat
2. Tap Channels
3. Tap the channel you want to join

Leaving a Channel

1. Open the channel
2. Tap the menu icon
3. Tap Leave Channel

Channel Analytics

View activity metrics for any channel:

1. Open a channel
2. Tap the Analytics button in the header
3. View message counts, activity charts, and member participation
4. Export analytics as PDF

Export Channel Data

Export channel content for reporting:

1. Open a channel
2. Tap the Export option in the menu
3. Select what to include (messages, tasks, routes, forms, events)
4. Choose format (CSV or PDF)
5. Download the export

Broadcast Messages

Send high-priority notifications to multiple guards at once.

How to Send a Broadcast

1. Open the Broadcast dialog from the command menu
2. Choose recipients:
   • All Active Guards - Everyone currently active
   • Channel - All members of a specific channel
   • Event - All guards assigned to an event
3. Select message priority:
   • Info - General updates
   • Warning - Important notices
   • Emergency - Critical alerts (highest priority)
4. Type your message
5. Tap Send

1. Join a voice channel
2. Hold the talk button to speak
3. Release to stop talking and listen
4. See who’s speaking with the active speaker indicator

Starting a Video Call

1. Join a voice channel
2. Enable your camera using the Video button
3. See all participants in the video grid

• Leave Call - Exit the video call
• Minimize - Shrink the call to a floating window

Using AI Mode

1. Toggle AI Mode in the chat input
2. Type your question or request
3. The AI assistant will respond in the channel
