Account

How do I reset my password?

  1. Go to the login screen
  2. Tap Forgot Password
  3. Enter your email
  4. Check your email for a reset link

How do I change my profile picture?

  1. Tap your Profile icon
  2. Tap your current picture
  3. Choose a new photo

Location

Why can’t my team see my location?

Check that:

  • Location is set to “Always Allow” in your phone settings
  • The TeamMap app is not force closed
  • You have internet or mobile signal

How do I stop sharing my location?

Location sharing is controlled by your organization. Contact your manager.

Is my location tracked when I’m off work?

Only during scheduled shifts (if your organization has this enabled). Check with your manager.


Messages

How do I delete a message?

Long-press the message, then tap Delete.

Can I send photos?

Yes! Tap the attachment button in chat and select a photo.

Why didn’t someone get my message?

They might:

  • Have notifications turned off
  • Be in an area with no signal
  • Not have opened the app recently

Tasks

How do I reject a task?

  1. Open the task
  2. Tap the menu icon
  3. Tap Can’t Complete
  4. Add a reason

What if I can’t finish a task on time?

Contact your manager and update the task notes.


Shifts

Can I swap shifts with someone?

Contact your manager - shift swaps are done by admins.

What if I’m late to check in?

Check in as soon as possible. Your actual check-in time is recorded.


Technical

What phones work with TeamMap?

  • iPhone: iOS 13 or newer
  • Android: Android 8.0 or newer

Does the app use a lot of battery?

TeamMap is optimized for battery life, but location tracking does use some power. Keep your phone charged during shifts.

Does the app use a lot of data?

The app uses minimal data. Most usage comes from photo uploads.
