What are Clients?
Clients represent your customers or the organizations you provide services to. Managing clients helps you:
- Organize work and shifts by customer
- Track billing rates and invoices
- Store contact information
- Link locations and sites
Client Types

Viewing Clients
- Open the More menu
- Tap Clients to see the client list
- Search or scroll to find a client
- Tap to view client details and work history
Client Information
Each client record includes:
- Name - Company or individual name
- Type - Business, individual, government, or nonprofit
- Contact - Primary contact person
- Email - Contact email address
- Phone - Contact phone number
- Address - Business or billing address
- Billing Rate - Default hourly rate
- Notes - Additional information
Client Locations
Link multiple locations to a client:
View client locations by opening the client details. Tap any location to see it on the map or get directions.
Client Portal
Give clients self-service access to their data:
Clients can access their portal at portal.teammap.co to view reports and activity at their locations.

Can I link a client to multiple locations?
Yes, clients can have multiple locations. This is useful for clients with several sites or branches.
How do I set different rates for different clients?
Billing rates are managed in the web app by supervisors.
What happens when I archive a client?
Archived clients are hidden from the main list but all their data (shifts, invoices, history) is preserved. You can unarchive them at any time.
How do clients access their portal?
Send them an invite from the client settings. They’ll receive an email with login instructions for portal.teammap.co.
