Finding Your Forms

  1. Tap Forms in the navigation
  2. See three tabs:
    • Templates - Available forms to fill out
    • Drafts - Forms you’ve started but not submitted
    • Submitted - Completed form submissions

Form Field Types

Forms can include various field types:

Filling Out a Form

  1. Tap a form template to start a new draft
  2. Fill in each field:
    • Text fields: Type your response
    • Photos: Tap camera to capture or choose from gallery
    • Signatures: Sign with your finger on the pad
    • Choices: Tap to select options
  3. Tap Next to move between sections
  4. Tap Submit when done

Fields marked with ***** are required. Complete all required fields before submitting.


Adding Photos

  1. Tap the camera icon on a photo field
  2. Choose:
    • Take Photo - Open camera to capture
    • Choose from Gallery - Select existing photo
  3. The photo attaches to the form
  4. Tap the photo to view, retake, or remove

Photos are automatically compressed to save bandwidth.


Signatures

For forms requiring a signature:

  1. Tap the signature field
  2. Sign with your finger on the signature pad
  3. Tap Done to save
  4. Tap Clear to start over if needed

Saving for Later (Drafts)

Not finished? Your progress is saved:

  • Auto-save: Drafts save automatically as you fill them out
  • Manual save: Tap Save Draft to save and exit
  • Find drafts: Go to Forms > Drafts to continue later

Drafts sync across your devices when online.


Offline Mode

No internet? You can still fill out forms:

  1. Open the app (forms are cached)
  2. Fill out and submit forms normally
  3. Submissions queue and send when you’re back online
  4. A yellow banner shows when you’re offline

Offline drafts are stored locally on your device and sync when reconnected.


Daily Activity Report (DAR)

The DAR is a special form for documenting shift activities:

  1. After completing a shift, tap Create DAR
  2. The form pre-fills with:
    • Shift start/end times
    • Your name and location
    • Activity counts (patrols, tasks, incidents)
  3. Add any additional observations
  4. Submit for supervisor review


PDF Export

Download forms as PDF documents:

  1. Open a submitted form
  2. Tap Download PDF
  3. The PDF saves to your device
  4. Share via email, messages, or other apps

Form Review Workflow

Your submitted forms may require supervisor approval. Check the status in Forms > Submitted.


Common Questions

My form won’t submit

Check that you’ve:

  • Filled in all required fields (marked with *)
  • Captured required photos
  • Provided signature if required
  • Have internet connection (or wait to sync)

Where are my completed forms?

Tap Forms > Submitted to see your submission history.

Can I edit a submitted form?

Submitted forms cannot be edited. If changes are needed, your supervisor may reject the form for resubmission.

Why won’t my photo upload?

  • Check camera permissions in device settings
  • Ensure you have storage space
  • Try closing and reopening the app
