How Feature Flags Work

TeamMap uses feature flags to let administrators control which capabilities are available to their team. Toggling a feature on or off takes effect immediately for all users.

Enabling a Feature

  1. Go to Settings > Features
  2. Find the feature you want to enable
  3. Toggle it on
  4. The feature immediately appears in the sidebar, map tabs, and create menus

Some features may require a plan upgrade. Features unavailable on your current plan will show a lock icon.

Disabling a Feature

  1. Toggle the feature off in Settings > Features
  2. The feature is hidden from all users immediately
  3. Existing data is preserved and will reappear if re-enabled
⚠️

Disabling a feature does not delete any data. All existing records (incidents, inventory items, etc.) are preserved and will be visible again when the feature is re-enabled.
